The integration brings turn-by-turn wrist routing to challenge Garmin and Komoot
Outdoor watch giant Coros and trail-mapping platform AllTrails have announced a new partnership that brings hands-free navigation directly to the wrist.
The integration bridges the gap between pre-trail route planning and on-wrist tracking, allowing users to offload their navigation entirely onto their hardware.
Under the new setup, users can send any route saved with an AllTrails Plus or Peak subscription directly to their compatible Coros watch, unlocking real-time, turn-by-turn routing alerts without checking a smartphone screen.
The integration also establishes an automated bi-directional data pipeline between the two ecosystems. So, when an athlete finishes an outdoor session, the activity is instantly synced back to the AllTrails feed to maintain a complete history of their outdoor adventures.

Plus, users can now leverage their watch sessions to upload trail photos and write firsthand community reviews directly on the AllTrails platform, helping keep the mapping database up to date with real-time conditions.
Navigating the competitive mapping landscape
The mapping space remains fiercely contested among the best outdoor watch makers, with third-party platforms becoming key selling points for users.
AllTrails already offers an integration that lets its premium users push routes to Garmin Connect, so Coros is playing catch-up to ensure its users aren’t left stranded on the trailhead.
Meanwhile, chief competitor Komoot has spent the last year integrating itself into rival ecosystems, rolling out advanced Course Points for Garmin’s Up Ahead feature and launching a completely offline app for the Apple Watch.
By creating a direct pipeline to AllTrails, Coros matches its rivals while giving its community a more seamless way to access pre-vetted trail data. And that’s especially notable, given that native route discovery has always been a slight bottleneck for the platform.
