Oura expands blood pressure and GLP-1 tracking tools to 30 new places

Smart ring leader Oura is rolling out its suite of proactive features—including Health Radar and GLP-1 Insights—to more than 30 new international markets, extending the tools to members across the UK, European Union, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Mexico, and Saudi Arabia.

Building on its existing Symptom Radar, which began rolling out in late 2024, Health Radar expands the cardiovascular and respiratory tracking capabilities of the Oura Ring.

The headline addition is Blood Pressure Signals, which continuously monitors biometric patterns in the background to detect potential signs of cardiovascular strain.

This works alongside Nighttime BP, a feature that measures overnight PPG signals during sleep to detect natural blood pressure dipping patterns—a key long-term heart health metric that daytime readings often miss.

Members can also log manual blood pressure cuff measurements inside the Oura app to view individual readings alongside multi-week trends.

Tracking GLP-1 medication journeys

Health Radar also incorporates Nighttime Breathing, offering a 30-day rolling evaluation of sleep-related breathing disturbances to help members spot changes that may warrant clinical follow-up.

At the same time, Oura is expanding access to GLP-1 Insights, an industry-first feature for members taking GLP-1 receptor agonist medications.

The feature combines dosage schedules, user-logged side effects, and body weight changes into a single longitudinal timeline alongside core continuous biometrics like Sleep, Readiness, Activity, and Stress.

The expanded features are rolling out to iOS and Android users wearing an Oura Ring 3, Oura Ring 4, or the new-gen Oura Ring 5.
