Nike and Hyperice team up for recovery-focused Air Zoom Hyperslide

The new recovery slide embeds a removable magnetic pod to target muscle tension and foot fatigue

Nike and Hyperice have revealed their second major wearable tech collaboration, the Nike Air Zoom Hyperslide—a recovery-focused pair of sliders that integrates heat and vibration therapy.

Launching globally on September 29—with pricing details still to be released—the footwear marks an expansion of the pair's focus on regeneration tech, building upon their previous high-top Nike Hyperboot launch.

The brand suggests the Hyperslide is designed for immediate post-workout use to help reduce muscle stiffness and passively improve circulation without the need for stationary recovery systems, though the form also lends itself to general lifestyle and travel wear.

The core functionality of the slide centers around a removable, magnetically docked Hyperslide Pod embedded into the adjustable upper strap (shown below). Borrowing mechanical concepts from Hyperice’s Venom contrast therapy line, the pod delivers localized physical therapy to the top of the foot.

Users can toggle between three progressive heat levels—topping out at 117 degrees Fahrenheit (47 degrees Celsius)—alongside three distinct vibration massage frequencies.

These run on automated 15-minute recovery cycles, controlled either via hardware buttons directly on the pod or via remote customization through the companion Hyperice app.

Underneath the active therapy elements, Nike has integrated a low-profile, full-length Air Zoom midsole to provide standard passive cushioning and responsive impact protection for walking.

The Wareable take: Expanding the concept

The breadth of lifestyle-driven, recovery-focused products has multiplied in the last few years, with everything from red light therapy masks to leg compression sleeves gaining huge traction among professional athletes and amateur enthusiasts alike.

Hyperice has already delivered literal recovery boots in the last year, but embedding active contrast therapy directly into more casual, everyday footwear completely changes the accessibility equation here.

For athletes battling data fatigue from tracking scores alone, these physical, on-the-go recovery tools offer immediate, practical relief.
