Built for multi-day expeditions, the latest generation pairs 90 days of potential battery life with improved stamina tracking
Garmin has unveiled the Enduro 4, the latest edition of its long-lasting outdoor watch series built specifically for ultra-runners, backpackers, and multi-day endurance athletes.
Hot on the heels of the Fenix 9 series launch, the all-new Enduro arrives with an energy-efficient 1.4-inch MIP solar display and Power Sapphire lens.
Only available in a 51mm case, the latest iteration has the ability to deliver up to 320 hours of battery life in GPS activity mode with solar charging—or up to 90 days in daily smartwatch mode.
It also features a 10 ATM water rating, the ever-popular integrated LED flashlight, and double the onboard storage of its predecessor, at 64GB.
As with previous editions, the Enduro 4 features Garmin's moisture-wicking ComfortFit fabric band, too, rather than the standard silicone that arrives with most Fenix 9 series devices. That helps reduce some of the weight, with the fourth-gen device clocking the scales at just 66g.
Upgraded mapping engine and multi-day Garmin Epic logging
Under the hood, a 50% RAM bump over the 2024 Garmin Enduro 3 powers an upgraded mapping engine, with Garmin suggesting it can deliver 30% faster map panning and a new Perspective view on routable maps to help athletes better anticipate upcoming terrain.
Athletic tracking also gains grade-adjusted pace targets and grade-adjusted rolling pace to regulate effort on steep ascents, alongside the Stamina Zones and a Stamina Curve introduced via the latest Fenix line help users better visualize real-time energy depletion.
To manage battery demands during extended efforts, flexible Power Modes let athletes toggle between Max Accuracy for shorter efforts and Max Battery mode for full 320-hour tracking.
For multi-day expeditions, another Fenix 9 carryover—the Garmin Epic feature—lets users group activities across days, weeks, or months into a single cohesive story in Garmin Connect, complete with aggregated health data and photos.
Rounding out the updates are enhanced indoor rowing tools with dedicated VO2 max and power curves, plus expanded rucking features that allow users to adjust pack weights on the fly during activities.
The Enduro 4 is available now priced at £799.99 / $899.99 / €899.99.
