An Android Wear smartwatch for ladies, from Swarovski, is incoming. The revelation came during Qualcomm's CES press conference and the smartwatch is due to arrive powered by a Snapdragon processor.
We didn't actually get to see the smartwatch itself and no major details were revealed but, from the promo video below, we do know that it will be the first Android Wear smartwatch to be aimed squarely at female fans.
It is time. To be smart. To be brilliant. To surprise and delight.
Has there ever been a slogan for a smartwatch as naff as that? Probably - in fact we think Huawei used that more or less word for word a couple of years ago.
The Swarovski Smart Watch (that's how the company itself is writing it) is due for a full reveal at Baselworld 2017 in March, so stay tuned for more info then.

Swarovski has previous in the wearable tech field, of course - albeit never with its own devices. It's teamed up with the likes of Samsung, Misfit, Polar and Huawei in the past for Swarovski editions of those brand's devices.
We're expecting plenty more smartwatch announcements out in Vegas so make sure you bookmark our dedicated Android Wear homepage for all the news headlines as they break.
