While Android Wear smartwatches have hit a lull in terms of new releases, the accessory list is still growing.

Announced today, the Mode watchband is the latest piece you can wear to customize your smartwatch. You'll get to choose from silicone and leather with four sizes in each material and 16 colors. More options should be available over time since Mode is an open source design.

Apparently Mode utilizes snap-and-go mechanism that lets you switch out the straps faster and easier. So if you want a sporty band for the weekend, a tan leather one for the office or a glitzy gold band for a night out, Mode lets you alternate as simply as changing your shirt.
