A clinical pivot brings live clinicians and medical records to the app
Whoop has announced a raft of new features for its subscribers, rolling out an expansion of its health platform and updates to its Whoop Coach AI.
The headline addition is live, on-demand video consultations with licensed clinicians directly through the app. Launching in the US this summer, the brand says these consultations will allow members to discuss their continuous biometric data with a professional who has access to months of health history.
This shift is bolstered by a new partnership with HealthEx, which allows members to sync their Electronic Health Records (EHRs). By pulling in clinical history, diagnoses, and medications, the hope is that correlations between medical procedures and daily recovery scores will be available.
Whoop is also leaning harder into AI with a new feature called ‘My Memory’. This allows users to add personal context to the coaching layer, ensuring recommendations are specific to their actual life circumstances.

This is joined by ‘Proactive Check-Ins’, where the AI reaches out with training or sleep advice before a key event or after significant travel.
The Whoop Journal has also been overhauled to support voice and text logging, making it easier to track habits and supplements without manual data entry.
A new, rugged way to style Whoop
This all joins last week’s quiet rollout of a more rugged way to style the hardware, with the brand releasing an all-new ‘Navigator Band’ in two colors.
Priced at $79, the strap uses an abrasion-resistant polyamide-elastane blend designed for outdoor wear. It also features a stainless steel-reinforced clasp and is available for both the standard Whoop 5.0 and Whoop MG tracker.
This move into a more durable accessory is a continuation of last year’s long-requested silicone wristbands, which it calls SportFlex, as well as the SuperKnit Luxe bands and Body range it added in 2023. It all means Whoop remains the most versatile tracker in terms of pure wearability, and we’re looking forward to seeing how the latest addition holds up on the trails over the summer.
