The Wareable Media Group is growing, and we’re looking for two enthusiastic journalists to join our team as full-time reporters.

Working across Wareable and The Ambient, you’ll cover exciting developments in wearable and smart home technology. From fitness trackers to smart speakers to the latest developments in VR - and everything in between - you'll be knee-deep in cutting-edge devices, testing them out for our knowledgeable audience. We care more about how new technologies will impact our lives than obsessing over specs; we want to help people to get the most out of their gadgets and untangle the jargon, not add to it.

Working across news, features and reviews you'll get a chance to contribute to all areas of the site. This isn't a regular 9 - 5 gig. You'll have plenty of freedom to explore areas you feel passionately about, pitch and pen the stories you want to write. You won't be tied down to your desk: there will be plenty of opportunities to get out and about, meeting the companies and seeing the products that are shaping the latest revolutions in technology.

You'll ideally have some experience working for a consumer technology/lifestyle title, a vast knowledge of the latest goings-on in the industry and some decent contacts. A journalism qualification is a plus. Applicants must be based in either London or San Francisco, or willing to relocate.

This would be the perfect job for someone looking for a full-time staff position. If that sounds like you, email us with your CV and a cover letter telling us why you're a good fit for the job.
