Circular Ring 3 combines advanced health tracking with NFC payments

The new generation brings Visa and Mastercard payments, FDA-cleared ECG monitoring, and haptic alerts
Smart ring challenger Circular has officially launched the Circular Ring 3 Series at IFA 2026 in Berlin, introducing two designs that integrate advanced health monitoring with built-in contactless payments.
Following the Circular Ring 2 generation, the new series comprises two distinct models: the feature-packed Circular Ring 3 Pro and the ultra-compact Circular Ring 3 Slim.
Both devices support contactless payments with compatible Visa and Mastercard accounts, allowing wearers to tap to pay without taking out a phone or wallet.
The launch also marks the return of Circular’s tactile haptic vibration engine. Built directly into the inner rim of the titanium steel ring, discreet vibrations deliver silent alarm clock wake-ups, medication reminders, biofeedback for breathing exercises, and real-time vital alerts without needing a screen.
The flagship Circular Ring 3 Pro is designed more for power users, incorporating an FDA-cleared ECG sensor for Atrial Fibrillation (AFib) detection, continuous blood pressure trend estimates, non-invasive glucose insights, SpO2 tracking, and heart rate variability (HRV) analysis.
Meanwhile, the Circular Ring 3 Slim offers a streamlined alternative that focuses on core daily metrics—sleep, activity, skin temperature, and heart rate—in a lightweight frame offering up to 10 days of battery life per charge.
"The next generation of wearables should do more than simply collect health data," said Amaury Kosman, CEO of Circular.
"Whether you're tracking your heart rhythm, improving your sleep, or paying for your morning coffee, the Circular Ring 3 Pro becomes something you rely on throughout the day."
Both models feature 50-meter water resistance, wireless charging, and full integration with Kira, Circular's AI-driven health assistant app. Regional pricing and pre-order dates will be announced in the coming months.
The Wareable team is out on the show floor in Berlin—and we'll be bringing you our first impressions of the new designs and features later this week. Stay tuned.
