Prime Day will work much the same as Black Friday, with a handful of deals running all day, but the majority appearing as timed "lightning" deals. That means you'll have to be online at the right time to bag what you want, which is where Wareable comes in. Check when they go live here and bookmark this page so you can click straight though quickly and easily.
There'll also be a few deals though that run throughout the day and we've got the ball rolling with the first round of best wearable tech and connected home devices from Amazon and listed them below.
What is Amazon Prime Day?
Not satisfied with the shopping bonanza which is Black Friday? If that's the Thanksgiving of deal days, Prime Day is Christmas morning, offering discounts on a variety of products across the site. However note that, in order to get in on the action, you'll need to be a Prime subscriber, which means paying $99 a year. The good news is that if you haven't already got yourself a subscription, you can get a month's free trial. Amazon will also run a $20 off special on Prime membership, so if you aren't a member they're going to make it as tempting as possible to become one.
When does Amazon Prime Day start?
The sale kicks off Monday 10 July at 6pm PT/9pm ET/6pm BST, and can be accessed in the UK, US, Spain, France, Germany, Japan, Italy, Canada and Austria. It runs for a whole 30 hours, because 24 just ain't enough.
How do you find the best Amazon Prime Day deals?

It may not be offering the same wild discounts as main rival Oculus, but the HTC Vive will still be available at a decent snip this Prime Day. And while the former has now added room scaling, the Vive still sits atop the VR pack, in our view. So if you're in the market for a VR headset and want the best, treat this reduction as money you can put towards a suitable PC setup.
