Fitness tracker 11 gets a brighter 2,000-nit AMOLED display, a slimmer design, and upgraded health tracking
Xiaomi has added the Smart Band 11 to its global website, showing off a brighter display, a slimmer build, and up to 21 days of battery life.
The Smart Band 11, which first launched in China on September 3, has just appeared on Xiaomi's global site, suggesting that an international release is on the way. And the listing gives a clear idea of what people in other countries can expect.
The biggest change is the display. The Smart Band 11 features a 1.72-inch AMOLED screen with up to 2,000 nits of brightness, making it easier to see the screen outdoors. Xiaomi has also made the band thinner than the Smart Band 10, at 9.99mm thick and weighing only 15.58g without the strap.
Battery remains the highlight, with Xiaomi saying it can last up to 21 days on a single charge. We plan to test that claim ourselves once we try out the Smart Band 11, so check back soon for our full review.
Health and fitness features
The Smart Band 11 gets a new dual-LED, dual-PD heart rate sensor, which Xiaomi says can track your heart rate all day and alert you if it notices anything unusual.
It also monitors blood oxygen, stress, and sleep. According to the company, the band will provide sleep trend reports to help you understand how your sleep changes over time.
As for workouts, there are over 150 sports modes, covering activities like running, cycling, swimming, yoga, and boxing.
The swimming mode also includes real-time heart rate tracking, AI stroke recognition, and 9-axis motion tracking. And Xiaomi makes a bold claim here, saying that the band can achieve 95% accuracy when recording laps.
Prices, finishes and availability
Xiaomi has announced four options for the Smart Band 11 on its global website: Midnight Black, Glacier Silver, Mystic Rose, and Pearl White.
There will also be a Ceramic Edition, while an NFC version is planned for contactless payments.
Xiaomi has not yet shared global pricing or a release date. Still, the Chinese prices may give us a rough idea of what to expect.
In China, the standard model starts at CNY 289 (about $43), the NFC version is CNY 339 (about $50), and the Ceramic edition is CNY 399 (about $59).
These prices may not match exactly, so we will need to wait for Xiaomi to confirm the final details.
