The Beats 360 headphones arrive with interchangeable cushions for workouts
The new over-ears feature IPX4 water resistance, custom drivers, and swappable performance knit or leatherette ear pads
Beats has officially unveiled the Beats 360, a new flagship pair of over-ear headphones that introduces modular physical customization to the brand's audio lineup.
Retailing at $349.99 / £299.95 and available now, the Beats 360 features interchangeable magnetic ear and headband cushions, allowing wearers to swap cushion materials and colors to suit different workouts, travel, or style preferences.
The headphones ship standard with Performance Knit cushions that Beats says are made from micro-thread memory foam for breathable athletic use, while secondary Cushion Kits can be purchased separately in Performance Knit or UltraPlush engineered leather.
Under the hood, the headphones feature a new acoustic architecture with three-layer diaphragms and dual neodymium magnets.
Noise cancellation has been upgraded, too, with an adaptive Active Noise Canceling system that delivers up to 1.75x more total noise suppression than the Beats Studio Pro.
As you would expect, Transparency mode, Adaptive EQ, and Personalized Spatial Audio with dynamic head tracking are also included.
Engineered for workouts
To improve durability during fitness sessions, the Beats 360 are the first over-ear Beats model to carry an IPX4 rating for sweat and water resistance—joining last year's Beats Powerbeats Pro 2 as models that can survive sweat and light outdoor drizzle.
A redesigned headband architecture also eliminates internal cable routing, allowing the Beats team to balance weight distribution and clamping force for extended wear.
Powered by a custom Beats chip, the headphones offer cross-platform features including one-touch pairing, always-on "Hey Siri", and Find My network support on Apple devices, alongside Fast Pair and Audio Switch on Android.
On paper, battery life is also rated for up to 32 hours of continuous playback with ANC enabled, and USB-C Fast Fuel delivers 1 hour of playback from a 5-minute charge.
The Beats 360 is now available in Black, Cloud, Pink, and Sky, with standalone Cushion Kits starting at an introductory price of $9.99 / £9.95, before rising to their standard price of $ 49.95 / £ 49.95.
