The partnership pairs strokes-gained metrics with a titanium build and 18-hole bezel
Tag Heuer has partnered with golf mainstay TaylorMade to launch a special edition of its Connected Calibre E5 smartwatch, building on the in-house software it debuted last year.
Retailing at a whopping £2,150/$2,550, the 45mm smartwatch marks the latest hardware expansion of the Swiss brand’s custom platform, which moved away from Google’s Wear OS to deliver an OS optimized specifically for sports tracking.
While standard E5 models debuted the new Tag OS architecture, this limited TaylorMade variant is instead styled and geared specifically for the fairways.
Rendered in a black DLC-coated titanium chassis, the watch swaps a standard hour bezel for a matte ceramic layout engraved with 18 physical hole markings.

It also ships with a specialized navy-blue-striped leather strap and features prominent TaylorMade crown branding. As ever, there are also custom digital watch faces, with Tag Heuer noting that one is inspired by golf course topography, and the other by the fluidity of a golf swing.
Gains on the greens
The on-watch software, as you would expect, leverages Tag’s new platform to bring a fresh twist to its golf features compared to the last version, the Connected Caliber E4 Golf Edition.
The E5 calculates live strokes-gained insights, automatically tracks shot distances, and maps rounds without the player having to fiddle with their smartphone.
Plus, the dynamic auto-zooming vector maps cover more than 40,000 courses worldwide, while the AMOLED panel automatically shifts views as the golfer advances through a hole.
There are also golf-focused complications for those who want their golf metrics viewable at-a-glance, including longest drive, next round, best score, last score, total rounds played during the year, and total birdies made.
Other than that, the experience is much the same as the standard E5 model—which means this edition can also deliver 12-hour battery life during full, continuous dual-frequency GNSS mapping.
The limited-edition watch will be released in October alongside a co-branded TaylorMade Spider 5K ZT Max putter and other golf accessories.
