Now that it's a little bit warmer and the days are getting longer, you might be finally ready to put on the running shoes and get outside. If you’re looking for something to track your outdoor workouts and fancy leaving your phone at home or firmly in the pocket, Amazon has a host of Garmin’s Forerunner watches on sale well worth considering.

The discounted Forerunners cover a range of prices starting with the Forerunner 35, which is Garmin’s entry-level running watch. That’s down to $125 from $169.99, which is a sizeable $45 saving. The Forerunner 35 does keep the run tracking to the basics, so if you want some extras for a bit more, the Forerunner 235 has dropped in price too. Despite launching way back in 2016, the 235 is still a great value running watch with a strong feature set.

if you’ve got a bit more money to spend, the Forerunner 935 is available for a decent price too. The triathlon-friendly watch essentially packs in the same features included in Garmin’s Fenix 5 series watches (not Fenix 5 Plus series), in a much slimmer design. It's our current best running watch pick and has dropped to $428.50 down from its usual $499.99 price tag. That’s the lowest we’ve seen it for some time and may well have something to do with the rumoured launch of the Forerunner 945.

One big feature the 935 doesn’t have is a built-in music player, but you can pick up the Forerunner 645 Music that does offer the feature, which is also on sale. The 645 Music, which also offers contactless payments on top of the usual sports tracking features is down to $415.71 from $449.99. So that's a saving of $34. The non-music version of the 645 is also down to $378 from $399.99, which is a smaller $21.99 saving.

Last up is the Forerunner 735XT, another triathlon-friendly watch that we scored a 4.5 out of 5 in our review back in 2016. Don't be put off by its age though, this is still a solid sports watch worth considering.

While Amazon seems to throw out deals on these Garmins regularly, these are some of the best deals we've seen in a while - and we imagine they won't be around for too long.
