Withings ScanWatch 2 - the best hybrid smartwatch - plummets to lowest-ever price
Hybrid smartwatches may not be the force in the industry they once were, but our top-rated option - the Withings ScanWatch 2 - has just dropped to its lowest-ever price on Amazon.
The smartwatch is available now for $249.95, reduced from its typical $349.95 RRP.
With most Black Friday deals comprising last-gen tech simply returning to a previous sales price for the weekend, we grade this as a proper deal.
Previously on Amazon, the ScanWatch 2's lowest price was $299.95 - as shown in the graph below. Instead, this is a current-gen watch we've ranked top after testing in our top hybrid smartwatches buyer's guide.
At the time of writing, many Withings gadgets are the subject of good deals on Amazon - not just the ScanWatch 2.
I can vouch for the mid-range Withings Body Smart scales, after using them daily for the last few months to help aid a body fat cut. They're available for $149.95 (reduced from $199.95) and come with reliable insights into body fat percentage and lean muscle mass.
I'm less of a fan of the wildly expensive Body Scan scales, which have been reduced from an eyewatering $399.95 to a still-eyewatering $339.95.
At least at first glance, I found the futuristic and FDA-approved health features to be impressive. However, the astronomical price and inconsistent body fat percentage readings during testing mean I'd think twice about recommending them.
Then there's the ScanWatch Light, the entry-level version of the ScanWatch 2. This is available at a reduced rate at plenty of retailers, including Amazon, where you can pick it up for $199.95 (reduced from $249.95).
It's unclear how long Withings will stock its wares or when these deals will expire. We also aren't expecting this current-gen crop to get a bigger discount in December.
So, if you've been in the market for a hybrid smartwatch, in particular, there's no time like the present.
