RayNeo's iO AR smart glasses and cinema GT Series are available now

TCL-backed RayNeo debuts lightweight ambient productivity specs alongside a 307-inch spatial AR viewing kit at IFA Berlin

RayNeo has announced that its new smart glasses—the iO AI specs and GT Series virtual cinema glasses—are now ready to go global, after first teasing the duo last month.

Announcing their official availability at IFA 2026 in Berlin, the new releases ensure the TCL brand covers its bases in two key areas of smart glasses.

Rather than being direct competitors to Meta's camera glasses, the iOS glasses are instead designed as a lightweight (33g) ambient assistant.

Built using magnesium-aluminum alloy and titanium temples, the brand says the iO features a 97% transparent monochrome waveguide display powered by the 0.085cc Firefly Nano MicroLED engine.

It also delivers 1,300 nits of eye-level brightness, though heads-up text overlays remain invisible to onlookers. The specs also harness a 4-mic array and a bone-conduction vocal sensor to log meetings, extract action items, and trigger calendar updates via head gestures.

Rayneo says the experience is driven by Gemini 3.1 Flash Lite, with options to switch between ChatGPT, Claude, and DeepSeek. Another common HUD display feature—live translation—is also powered by Timekettle's BabelOS translation, featuring built-in support for 55 languages.

While the iO focuses more on productivity and AI assistance, the spatial RayNeo GT Series (comprising GT and GT Max models) focuses on the display.

The GT features 3DoF spatial tracking (with Steady, Pinned, and Follow modes) and custom quad speakers co-tuned by Bang & Olufsen. Paired with the new Pocket TV Pro accessory, the GT Series can also natively support Dolby Vision playback with AI SDR-to-HDR upscaling.

Meanwhile, the GT Max packs a 5.5th-gen Tandem MicroOLED display and Peacock Optical Engine 3.0 Max to deliver a 59° Field of View (FOV). Wearers can scale virtual screens up to an equivalent of 307 inches in 3D space.

Pricing and finishes

Shipping for both styles of glasses has now begun across RayNeo’s own store and Amazon.

The iO specs are available in 'Polar Night' (a grey-black finish) and Dune (brushed gold), starting at$499 for the Standard Case edition, with the Charging Case Bundle priced at $549. This case is also sold separately.

Meanwhile, the GT Series glasses cost between $299 / £289 and $429 / £399, depending on whether you choose the standard or Max model.
