Even Realities gives its camera-free G2 smart glasses a tortoiseshell makeover

The 'Brown 2' edition is joined by new polarized sun clips and a steel carrying chain

Even Realities has introduced Brown 2, a tortoiseshell-inspired colorway for its flagship Even G2 smart glasses, alongside a pair of practical new accessories.

Rather than applying a superficial pattern finish, Even Realities says it developed an entirely new frame material that weaves the rich, layered tones of traditional tortoiseshell throughout the structure.

The brand indicates that each frame undergoes a rigorous 20-hour shaping, pressing, tumbling, and polishing process to create subtle, organic variations.

Available in both its Frame A and Frame B styles, the Brown 2 iteration retains the Even G2's signature camera-free, display-first smart glasses—projecting discreet teleprompter notes, live translations, and smartphone notifications directly into the wearer's line of sight—while remaining the lightest design in the lineup to date.

New accessories bolster the experience

To make the Even G2 more versatile for daily outdoor wear, Even Realities is also dropping two companion accessories.

The new Polarized Sun Clips ($149) feature silver-gray polarized lenses that cut glare from reflective surfaces like water and asphalt while offering complete UVA and UVB protection.

And for users who frequently take their glasses on and off throughout the day, the Even G2 Chain ($79) offers a new carrying solution.

Forged from stainless steel with a durable sandblasted gunmetal finish, the chain keeps the glasses securely resting around the neck between uses without disrupting the understated aesthetic of the frames.

The Even G2 Brown 2 retails for $649 in the US—and all three new items are now available globally through Even Realities.
