After dipping its toe in the smartwatch water with the touch screen-less, Martian-powered Guess Connect and showing off two new Guess Connect Wear 2.0 watches, the watchmaker is now adding a touch of luxury to the proceedings with its Gc Connect watches.

The two new smartwatches for men and women run Android Wear 2.0 and are powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon Wear 2100 processor, all housed in a 316L steel case that's brushed and polished.

The Gc Connect will come in eight variations: five for men and three for women. Men's variations include a rose gold case with a black ceramic bezel; a polished steel case with black ceramic bezel and a black silicone strap; a polished steel case with a black ceramic bezel and black ceramic bracelet; a bronze case with a black ceramic bezel; and a polished steel case with a gray ceramic bezel. Phew.

The women's model will get to choose from a silver case with a rose gold top ring, a polished steel case with a rose gold top ring, or a rose gold case with a rose gold brushed and polished bracelet.

Guess says the new smartwatch collection is inspired by the Gc Structura watch design and they also include what Guess calls "Smart Luxury," which basically means being able to choose one of Gc's custom watch faces, each of which features three complications. You can also swap out straps so that you can mix and match to your heart's desire.

There's no pricing, availability date or detailed specifications, like battery life, yet, but those could come at the upcoming Baselworld 2017. We'll be at the watch show this week to find out more details.
