You Wear It Well episode 002 - the Apple vs Bagel edition - has hit Soundcloud. That's right, our twice monthly podcast is back. It's loose, it's insightful and it's right on time too as we've got the Apple Watch Series 3 and Fitbit Ionic on our wrists.

On the show this week, we have A++ chat from both the London and San Francisco teams. In Shoreditch, Sophie, Mike and Conor talk Apple Watch and whether people want LTE smartwatches.

We get Mike's thoughts after a week testing the Fitbit Ionic and a quick dive into sports teams cheating with wearables. Then we descend into a bagel vs crumpet spat before hyping Conor's upcoming diary series on getting hench at the gym with wearable tech. Look out for that starting next week.

In San Francisco, Hugh and Husain get into what their fave new features of watchOS 4 are, how Hugh is finding the Series 3 so far, how it compares to the Ionic and why Husain's new nickname is Townsquare.

Hugh also has a couple of interviews from the HAX Accelerator day he went to last week as he talks with Aaron Rowley about building the Vue smartglasses and Rohan Dixit on creating stress wearables with Lief Therapeutics.

How we test

By

Sophie was Wareable's associate editor. She joined the team from Stuff magazine where she was an in-house reviewer. For three and a half years, she tested every smartphone, tablet, and robot vacuum that mattered.

A fan of thoughtful design, innovative apps, and that Spike Jonze film, she is currently wondering how many fitness tracker reviews it will take to get her fit. Current bet: 19.

Sophie has also written for a host of sites, including Metro, the Evening Standard, the Times, the Telegraph, Little White Lies, the Press Association and the Debrief.

She now works for Wired.
