Fancy creating VR worlds within VR itself? Well, it'll soon be possible thanks to Epic Games' Unreal Engine 4.
If this all sounds too good to be true, check out the video for yourself.
Watch as Epic Games' Tim Sweeney and Mike Fricker show a sneak peek of the Editor to illustrate just how intuitive the program is. Because all the same UE4 tools have been transferred to the virtual space, Sweeney states, "You don't need to learn the user interface, you already know."
What does this mean for you? The possibility of a gamified version of Unreal Editor - think The Sims and Minecraft in VR (even though Minecraft is already on the VR docket, according to HoloLens demos). If that doesn't happen, at least there's another helpful tool for game devs to create more content for you.
Stay tuned for more details and release date for Unreal Editor on 16 March when the Game Developer's Conference, and the first Virtual Reality Conference, are in full swing.
