Hugh is wearing the Polar M430 in limited edition green
As I mentioned in a May edition of What I'm Wearing, I'm back running on the regular, and that means finding a new wrist companion. I've been using the Garmin Vivoactive 3 a lot lately, but I've just slipped on this Polar M430. I actually hadn't used the M430 before, so it's a chance for me to try something new.
This is actually one of the newer models that Polar pushed out in March, this one in the limited edition green. Yes it's pretty loud, but – fun fact – green is my favorite colour, so I'm totally down with it. The rest of the running watch is the same M430 that launched last year. As for the face, I've opted for one of the pre-loaded options: a circular clock to go against the rectangular face. Like an absolute madman.
Husain is wearing the Apple Watch Series 3 with blue stripe nylon
It's finally summer time! The sun is coming out, the weather is warming up and it's time to toss out the bland grays and blacks and throw on a bit of colour. Apple tends to release a bunch of new bands as the seasons turn, so I decided to grab hold of one.
I chose the blue stripe woven nylon. Apple's nylon bands tend to have some non-traditional stripes that are either super thick or so thin that they tend to blend together. This one has a much better balance.
With a bit of white and alternating shades of blue and green, this is actually a pretty good choice for the beach. Looking at it makes me want to jump into the nearest pool. As always, Apple's nylon bands are nicely comfortable. They're not the best for sweat absorption, so maybe don't take it to the gym, but they're breathable enough for a hot day (which the sports bands definitely are not).
