The, Alcatel OneTouch Watch went live at back in January at CES, with promises that it would offer a cheap-ticket to the smartwatch party.
Those promises have now been realised as the iOS and Android compatible timepiece is available to order directly through Alcatel for a price-tag of $149.99. It will ship on 1 June.
In the UK, the price-tag has just been confirmed as £99.99 and it will be available from Currys PC World in mid-June.
The Alcatel Watch boasts an accelerometer, a gyroscope, an altimeter, a heart rate sensor, an e-compass and an NFC tag, and will offer fitness tracking as well as smartphone notifications.
Wareable picks: The best smartwatches to buy now
The proprietary OS-running Watch can also be used to control music playback and can function as a remote shutter for your smartphone.
A nice feature is that it charges via a USB charger integrated into the watch band, a much easier affair than the likes of the Apple, Samsung and LG smartwatch docks.
We've had hands-on with the Alcatel OneTouch Watch and were actually pretty impressed. We'll, of course, reserve our full judgement until we've had a proper testing period though and we'll bring you a full review as soon that's happened.
