The Polar M400 sports watch now comes in pink and blue models with the pink version offering a slightly shorter wristband for smaller wrists.
We gave the GPS watch four stars when we reviewed it last year, and since then it's received an update which adds notifications. At the moment notifications are only available from iOS devices, but we've been told Android compatibility will be coming soon.

With the additional colours and option with a 2cm shorter wristband, it appears Polar is hoping to make the M400 a more lifestyle friendly option, bridging the gap between fitness bands, GPS sports watches and smartwatches. That's great for people who want more detailed tracking than the Polar Loop 2, and a cheaper pricetag than the V800.
Polar has also recently updated its Polar Flow app, adding social features. Now you can follow your training mates and share workouts as well as comparing results against planned targets.

The new models are available now from Polar's website for $229.95, with a blue version without the bundled H7 HR monitor strap coming in mid-August for $179.95.
