Fitbit summer sale slashes price of Ionic smartwatch, Alta HR and more

Fitbit Ace is also getting a cut

With Amazon Prime Day looming, deals season has begun in earnest, and Fitbit is the latest to get in on the action with its own summer sale on the official Fitbit store.

The company has slashed prices on a handful of its wearables on its own store as well as Amazon. Here's a run down of the deals:

Fitbit Ionic - $249.95 ($50 off)

Fitbit Ionic Adidas edition - $279.95 ($50 off)

Fitbit Ace - $79.95 ($20 off)

Fitbit Charge 2 - $119.95 ($30 off)

Fitbit Alta HR - $119.95 ($30 off)

Fitbit Alta - $99.95 ($30 off)

Sadly the Fitbit Versa, the company's second generation smartwatch isn't getting any savings, but maybe things will change closer to Prime Day. You can pick up the special edition Alta for a reduced price too, but as that comes in at the same price as the new HR version, we'd recommend picking up the latter instead.

Finally, Fitbit's Flyer Bluetooth headphones are $30 cheaper in the sale. All in all, not a bad selection, particularly on the Ionic and the Ace, the latter being a very new product on Fitbit's store shelf.
