All three color options are discounted to the same low price and come with a two-year warranty from Garmin to boot.

For the money, you're getting a top-notch running watch that can't really be rivalled for the entry-level price. Of course, there's built-in GPS and a heart rate monitor, the least you would expect from any running watch worth its salt. The Forerunner 235 uses both of these sensors for its VO2 Max estimates, which are a great way to monitor your fitness levels.

Beyond running, the Forerunner 235 does 24/7 activity tracking and it's comfortable to never take off. You can also get your paired smartphone's notifications mirrored to your wrist, adding in some basic smartwatch functionality.

Even at its original £229.99 price, we were big fans when we reviewed it at launch, awarding the Garmin Forerunner 235 a 4/5 score. We were particularly impressed by its battery stamina:

"The Garmin Forerunner 235's battery life is highly impressive and lasted over a week on a single charge, with a couple of runs thrown in. A 5 mile run hardly made a dent on the battery – roughly 5% in total – so we'd have no qualms in recommending it for ultrarunners."
