Amazon has kicked off its Black Friday Countdown sale and one of the best deals is the Fitbit Ionic with $60 off, taking it down to just $189.99 ($10 lower than a few days ago). If you're after a Fitbit packing smartwatch smarts and GPS, then this is the Fitbit Black Friday deal for you.

This is the lowest price the Fitbit Ionic has been sold in a long time, making this a great saving on Fitbit's top-end smartwatch.

It's the only model currently from Fitbit that has GPS and GLONASS built in, meaning you don't have to rely on a paired smartphone for its more accurate location tracking. That means accurate pace and distance tracking during your outdoor workouts.

Of course, you also get Fitbit's famed activity and sleep tracking, as well as workout coaching straight from your wrist alongside built-in music storage.

We gave the Fitbit Ionic a 3.5/5 review when we tested it at its original price of $299.95. With this discount it's much better value for its feature set, especially as many of the software niggles we identified have now been resolved.

This deal on the Fitbit Ionic joins other Fitbit deals including savings on the Fitbit Versa 2 and Fitbit Inspire.
