Deal: The Fitbit Inspire HR gets its first big UK discount

There's discounts on the standard Inspire fitness tracker too

The Fitbit Inspire range has only been out a short while, and now it's just got its first big discount from Argos in the UK. If you act fast you can save a sizeable £20 off the usual price, bringing it down to just £69.99, its cheapest price yet.

This is the first time the Fitbit Inspire HR has had a UK discount. If you're only after the standard Fitbit Inspire, Argos has taken £20 off this model, too. This means you can pick it up for just £49.99.

This matches the all-time-low price set by Amazon during its one-day Bank Holiday sale, so if you missed out that time you'll not want to pass up on this rare discount.

Both models support Fitbit's usual array of activity and sleep tracking features as well as basic smartwatch functions letting you get your notifications from your wrist.

Of course, it's a heart rate monitor that separates the two models. Beyond keeping an eye on your ticker throughout the day and during exercise, Fitbit also uses your heart rate for its more advanced Sleep Stages sleep tracking.

If you fancy wearing your fitness tracker in a more discreet way away from your wrist, you'll want to opt for the standard Fitbit Inspire, however, as this model lets you use an optional clip-on accessory.

We gave the Fitbit Inspire 3.5 out of 5 in our review, whereas the Fitbit Inspire HR received 4 out of 5. So considering the equal discount, if you can afford to stretch for the latter that gets our stronger recommendation.

Either way, these £20 savings are a real surprise this soon after their release. Be sure to snap one up before they go back up in price.
