Manhattan leather giant Coach will be the next fashion brand to team up with Apple for a series of fashionable straps for the Apple Watch.

After some pretty grainy images were leaked of the potential partnership last month, more concrete evidence came courtesy from listings on the Coach website before a company representative confirmed the range would go on sale from the 6th of June, priced at $150.

The version in the image above is a Coach Glovetanned leather Watch band that comes with metal charms. The product description accompanying the listing says the following:

"What better way to complement your Apple Watch than with this luxe strap crafted in our genuine glovetanned leather? Finished by hand with heat-creased edges and hand-tacking at stress points for durability, the design is accented with a pretty, polished charm and a diminutive metal hangtag."

Other listings revealed a "tea rose model" and a "wild beast camo" model. It had been previously rumoured that there would be nine Coach Watch bands in total with red, saddle, black and white options tipped.

There's no mention of sizing options, so it's not clear whether these will be for the 38mm or 42mm models, or even both. Now that they are official, the launch looks set to happen just a week before Apple's WWDC developer conference. The latest speculation suggests our chances of seeing the Apple Watch 2 are slim with a bigger announcement about WatchOS the more likely outcome.

Apple announced its first designer watch strap partnership with Hermès back in September last year alongside an array of new Apple Watch strap designs. It was initially only available through select Apple Stores and boutiques across the world. It's now up for grabs through Apple's online store and as a standalone strap for those who already own the smartwatch.
