GoPro's Apple Watch app lets you control your camera from your smartwatch

Film on your head, control from your wrist
GoPro's Apple Watch app is live

GoPro has just launched a remote app on Apple Watch that allows users to access the camera's controls on their wrist. Now you can preview a shot, stop or start recording, and more.

In addition to basic camera controls, the app also allows you to toggle between video or still shot capture mode, and lets you add a "HiLight Tag" to specific moments in a video clip. You know, for tagging the exact moment when your brother tripped while trying to do that trick on his new hoverboard.

The iOS and Android apps have also been updated with additional features for grabbing a still shot right out of a video clip. You can flip through the video, frame-by-frame, and download a high-quality still of a select image.

Users can also find photos, videos, HiLight Tags, and clips easier using the new search filter in the app. The update is available now in Google Play and the Apple App Store.
