The Apple Watch has enjoyed a price cut across the board ahead of the event in March, where an updated version is expected.
As time to the big unveiling counts down, Best Buy, Target and a host of other online retailers have slashed prices of the original Apple Watch by $100. That beats prices at both Amazon and Apple's own online store.

However, the big question is whether you should invest? If you've held out for the Apple Watch this long then in many ways it would be a crazy time to work out for the older model. However, rumours point to a minimal update of the Apple Watch – an Apple Watch S, if you will.
That means, for those willing to take a risk, some of the super low Apple Watch deals may start to look a little more appealing. $299 for an Apple Watch 42mm puts it on par with the Moto 360 second edition.

The US electronics giant has been the most aggressive with its price cuts, and you can pick up a range of styles for $100 off. The 42mm Apple Watch Sport is now $299 and the 38mm is $249, available in a range of finishes and an even bigger array of strap choices.
